Our History

St. Patrick Church - Forestport, NY

1848 - St. Patrick Parish, originally established for the Irish canal workers that settled along the Black River Canal. St. Patrick Church began as a mission and remains today a vibrant Christian Community.

St. Mary of the Snows - Otter Lake, NY

1921 - St. Mary of the Snows, originally a summer Chapel, now a summer devotional serving the faithful of the area. 

St. Joseph Church - Boonville, NY

1878 - Founded as a mission out of Constableville, NY. St. Joseph became the mother parish of St. Patrick, Forestport and St. Mary of the Snows Oratory, Otter Lake.

Christ Our Hope Parish

2009 - St. Joseph, St. Patrick & St. Mary of the Snows combine to create Christ Our Hope Parish The Catholic Community of Northern Oneida County.
